Ecommerce Coordinator

Performance Brands is looking for a highly motivated Ecommerce Coordinator  who is passionate about all things content and strategy to join the Digital Department at our Head Office in Cape Town.

Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, this role is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in the B2C and B2B e-commerce environment while working on South Africa’s leading outdoor, active and  sports brands.

You must have an appetite for staying on top of the latest tech and digital systems trends and be eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, passion for optimisation and excellent communication skills are a must with the ability to work well under pressure.

Job Description:

As an Ecommerce Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising our online sales channels with a strong emphasis on project management. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platforms, ensuring smooth functionality,
driving content updates, and enhancing the overall customer experience. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to execute strategies aimed at maximizing online revenue and brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Website content management including website landing page building, content updates and other CMS functions.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Stock, price and item creation between ERP and website management.
  • Coordinate a team to ensure product data and product photography is correct.
  • Creating product attributes and categories for the online product hierarchy.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between other teams to ensure alignment of goals
    and objectives.
  • Conduct regular analysis of website performance metrics and sales data to identify trends,
    opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the Ecommerce Manager to develop and implement strategic initiatives
    aimed at driving online sales growth and enhancing customer experience.
  • Provide support to the customer service team by addressing inquiries, resolving issues,
    and ensuring timely order fulfilment.
  • Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues across the website to maintain a
    seamless user experience.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention, such as personalised
    recommendations and post-purchase follow-ups.
  • Communicate regularly with the Ecommerce Manager to provide project status updates,
    solicit feedback, and address any issues or concerns.

Required attributes, skills & qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a retail e-commerce business or digital marketing agency in a content, project management or digital coordinator role.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS coding in terms of landing page creation.
  • Adapt at managing multiple brands channels across multiple categories.
  • Skilled in E-Commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce etc.
  • Excellent reporting, copywriting, organisation and communications skills.
  • Detail focused, strong problem-solving, analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Well organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

We’re looking for a Graphics Designer to work on cross-channel marketing projects, all aimed at supporting marketing campaigns and building brand preference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist brand manager with project planning and execution of all marketing campaigns content and creative,
    • Actively drive coordination, organising and logistics with regards to all relevant marketing campaigns, including lifestyle and studio photography.
    • Sourcing of locations and models for campaigns.
    • Campaign conceptualisation, to executing campaign elements across various channels.
  • Coordinate the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration,
    • Liaise with suppliers and retailers to ensure timeous execution of digital and in-store campaigns.
    • Actively taking part in marketing campaigns organising meetings and coordinating project plans.
  • Designing and implementing email marketing campaigns across different segments of the customer base, including welcome emails, promotional offers, newsletters, and nurture sequences.
  • Execution of brand’s visual merchandising and graphic design requirements,
    • Design packaging, including Swing tickets, clip labels and more.
    • Design and update packaging for all product categories.
    • Design in-store signage and branding elements for retailers.
    • Design digital assests, including paid ads, website assets and landing page layouts.
    • Assist design and sales team with presentation and workbook designs.

Required attributes, skills & qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication or related field.
  • Proficiency in design and video editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite and Figma).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing packaging, landing page layouts, digital campaign elements.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g. Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines with a proactive approach.
  •  Skilled in project management tools such as Jira, Monday, Trello etc
  • Active participant in activities such as cycling, running and hiking.
